Transportation Management

Hiller Trading handles all shipping and transportation needs. We take care of all ocean and inland shipment requirements for our customers, from bulk cargoes in a variety of sizes in vessels up to and including large cape-size vessels of up to 180,000 tons.

Hiller Trading also handles interstate rail and shipping at competitive rates evaluating and analyzing freight costs. These calculations are based on the prevailing or expected market conditions applicable to particular shipping routes.

Hiller Trading shipping provides freight and charter services to third parties for other bulk commodities.

Scheduling
Information solutions are tailored to each customer’s needs. This may involve a web interface, EDI data exchange, e-mail notifications, or direct personal telephone updates.
Our custom dispatch allows load balancing and load swapping when unusual demand creates critical just-in-time requirements.
